TELECOMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT NETWORK (TMN/NMS)

Server : 
The Redundant servers  for un interrupted  services were   for processing of real time data’s and generating /storing of events in the form of readable text format along with time stamp in the database. The servers segregated critical and non-critical alarms and raised audible alarms to draw operator attention whenever the situation arises. Server was designed to automatically generates statistical report for daily, monthly and yearly and also generates Bar Graph. In-built password security is provided to avoid un-authorized user entry to avoid tampering of configuration file of the system.

MMI (Man Machine Interface) or Work Station or Client Terminal :
The Man Machine Interface with rich graphics support facilitates operator for easy  interaction. Operator can view the entire communication network depiction  by using menus options and also view all alarms reporting, statistical report generation, Events Reporting, Test reporting , Voice/data calls details, Traffic Measurement, Performance Data etc. Configuration or modification any parameters of any NE is also possible through MMI .The MMI keeps updating dynamically whenever any change of status are received from NE.

Communication Server :
The redundant communication server was designed for periodic polling with user defined time interval for acquiring real time data’s of all NE’s through data communication network. It keeps polling one by one and passing raw data to server through TPI/IP Sockets for both Hot-Standby server.
